Applying for Visa for Priests

The priests are sponsored by the Temples.
The type of visa for the priests cound be:

1.Temporary Visa is for somebody who is either desires to stay for a limited number of years or who is brought to USA on trial basis. Form I-129 of INS is used.
2. Permanent (GreenCard) Form I-360

All the application forms can be obtained on Internet. www.ins.gov

In addition to filling all the information requested by the INS, the Temple needs to furnish the following information so that they can process the application accurately:

Letter of appointment and support of the Temple
Affidavit of support asuring that the person you are sponsoring will not be public Charge
Certificate of Incorporation
Letter from I R S exempting from taxes
Financial Statements
Duties of Priests
Certificates of qualifications of the Priest (with translation if necessary) and past experience.
Copy of Passport
Two Ppassport size pictures
