Application for the Visa for the Spouse

The application is filed at the consulate office in India by the spouse.
The Temple only helps. Situation is similar to that of the Priest.
There are two items that are important.

1. The remuneration to the Priest should be high enough to be above 125% of poverty level. This information has to be documented, and substantiated by way of Priest W-2 or Tax return.
2. Assure U.S. Government that the person will not be a public charge.

Along with her application to the consulate the spouse, carry the following documents:

1. Applications fees
2. Passport
3. Letter from Temple
4. Certificate of Incorporation
5. Letter of appointment of the Priest. This letter should be on the Temple letterhead, specifying a. brief history of the Temple, with certificate of incorporation.
b. Need for the services of the Priest
c. How the priest' qualifications meets your requirement
d. How are you going to take care of their person ( Salary, benefits, Insurance etc). The salary should be such that the person will not be in 125% of poverty level.
e. The length of anticipated stay.
6. Affidavit of support addresses to the consulate, signed by a senior official of the Temple and notarized.
7. Brochure and activities of the Temple
8. Latest Financial statements of the Temple
9. W-2 or Tax return for the last year (Priest)
