Renewal of Temporary Visa

The
Temporary visa can be renewed for, up to 5 years. If you
have decided to keep the priest for more than 5 years,
a permanent visa is to be requested.
The process of application needs to be started at least
6 months before the expiration of current Visa.
The Temple is the applicant. (Petitioner)
The application is addressed to U.S.Dept of Justice (It
may change to the new Department of internal Security.)
and, to the branch, which has jurisdiction in your state.
The information should include the following:
1.
I-129 application. Letter to Dept. of Justice about yourself
and the need for the services of the Priest in your institution
and how the devotees are benefited.
2. Check for the proper amount
3. Certificate of incorporation and charter
4. Letter from IRS exempting from taxes.
5. Financial statements.
6. Duties and qualifications of the Priest.
7. Affidavit of support
8. Copy of R-1 status approval (Previous)
9. Copy of the Passport.
