Sponsoring a Priest

Once the Priest is selected, the Temple can sponsor the person.
The documents he needs are:

1. Passport
2. Letter of appointment. This letter should be on the Temple letterhead, specifying
    a. brief history of the Temple, with certificate of incorporation.
    b. Need for the services of the Priest
    c. How the priest' qualifications meets your requirement
    d. How are you going to take care of their person ( Salary, benefits, Insurance etc). The salary should be such that the person will not be in 125% of poverty level. The state is very particular that the person will not be a public charge.
    e. The length of anticipated stay
     f. How the public will benefit by your action
3. Affidavit of support addresses to the consulate, signed by a senior official of the Temple and notarized.
4. Brochure and activities of the Temple
5. Latest Financial statements of the Temple

The prospective priest needs to fill the application and carry it to the Consulate assigned to the particular area with the documents provided by you.
